Meet the Team

JASMINE LOMAX

Executive Artistic Director | they/them

Jasmine Lomax is a multi-hyphenated theatre artist, who holds a BFA in Original Works from Cornish College of the Arts and specializes in directing, intimacy direction, and original works. Their work centers bold storytelling, collaborative process, and the belief that art is a space for risk and care. At SOAP, they champion artist-led creation, anti-oppressive practice, and community-rooted production models. Their artistic vision is grounded in access, experimentation, and the development of structures that enable artists to take creative risks while being supported.

sarah ross

Volunteer Coordinator | they/them

You'll often see Sarah tending bar, reluctantly giving a pre-show speech, or rearranging the chairs in the lobby so the space looks more "even." Sarah serves as MAP Theatre's resident Stage Manager, works a day job with the fancy yet vague title of Systems Engineer, and also makes D&D dice. But mainly Sarah loves books, theatre, and cats. I think that's all you need to know, enjoy the show!

They are an avid biker, lover of all things coffee/food related, and are obsessed with their two cats, Westley and Bao.

pearl mei lam

Marketing Director | she/her

Pearl Mei Lam is an actor and filmmaker kindled by absurd humor and experimental art. In a past life, she graduated from UW with a dual degree in Business Administration: Marketing and Cinema & Media Studies, before doing marketing for tech startups. The first solo show she ever saw was at SOAP in 2019 (shoutout Woody Shticks) and not to be dramatic, but it literally changed her life – since then, she’s been committed to all things indie and fringe!
